The pension calculator delineates disbursements across the three distinct pension pillars. The estimation for the first pillar considers factors such as years of employment, number of children, service in the public sector, and other pension-eligible periods. It further incorporates the total insurance units accumulated and applies the annually adjusted national rates, including the base amount and the value assigned to a year of pensionable service.

Forecasts for the second and third pillars are derived from data provided by AS Pensionikeskus, including the value of contributions and accumulated units. These estimates also factor in the user’s anticipated rate of return and the duration of pension accumulation.

Users can compare Estonian second pillar funds across four key parameters: historical rate of return over different periods, risk level, proportion of investments within Estonia, and the number of active investors in each fund.

Furthermore, pension funds can be categorized and sorted based on their management company, investment strategy, and management style.
